CHAPTER XXIV. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1591.
[And still we trust in Thee]
We trusted that it had been He which, &c.
—xxiv. 21.
And still we trust in Thee
The' eternal Son of God,
Thou wilt from all iniquity
Redeem us by Thy blood:
The men of heart sincere
Thy blood shall sanctify,
Restore to Thy full image here,
And speak us to the sky.
