[Fearful, fluttering heart be still]

There shall not an hair of your head perish. —xxi. 18.

Fearful, fluttering heart be still,
And free from anxious care,
Till my kind Defender will,
I cannot lose an hair:
If for Christ my all I leave
I but a moment's loss sustain,
Here an hundredfold receive,
And life eternal gain.
