SCENE II.

CONSTANTIA,
(alone.)
O! my husband!
My dying Castro! could thy closing eyes
Behold thy Isabel, that once loved name,
Thus by a scornful slave, forbid to pour
Her fond forgiveness on thy parting soul!
Mercy! what means this image of distraction?
'Tis my Velora, whose disordered features
Too strongly speak her frantic agony
Of terror and surprise.
