ELECTION OF PROFESSORS EMERITI
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby elected Professor Emeritus:
- Miss Guenndolyn A. Beeler, Professor of Home Economics, who retires 30 June 1970, after having served on the faculty of the College for 19 years.
- Mrs. Eileen K. Dodd, Professor of Psychology, who retires 30 June 1970, after having served on the faculty of the College for 44 years.
- Mr. Reginald W. Whidden, Professor of English and Dean of the College, who retires 30 September 1970, after having served on the faculty of the College for 27 years.
- Mr. Edgar E. Woodward, Professor, who retires 30 September 1970, after having served the College for 33 years as Financial Officer.
