• Mr. Stanley C. Kunigelis from Associate Professor of Zoology, Clinch Valley College, with term, to Associate Professor of Zoology, Clinch Valley College, without term, effective August 25, 1998.
• Ms. Mary D. O'Quinn from Assistant Professor of Psychology, Clinch Valley College, to Associate Professor of Psychology, Clinch Valley College, effective August 25, 1998.
• Ms. Margie A. Tucker from Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Clinch Valley College, to Associate Professor of Chemistry, Clinch Valley College, effective August 25, 1998.
• Ms. Marla L. Weitzman from Assistant Professor of English, Clinch Valley College, to Associate Professor of English, Clinch Valley College, effective August 25, 1998.
