CHAPTER IX. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1325.
[Preserver of mankind]
Whosoever will lose his life for My sake, &c.
—ix. 24.

The truth of life to gain;
And when I rightly know
The sweetness of Thy love,
I come, by losing it below
To save my life above.
