CHAPTER VIII. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1297.
[Lord, if Thy grace I have]
Whosoever hath, to him shall be given.
—viii. 18.
Lord, if Thy grace I have,
I plead Thy word for more:
Whom Thou hast saved, persist to save,
And all Thy life restore:
If with a faithful heart
I simply follow Thee,
Whate'er Thou hast, whate'er Thou art,
Thou art, and hast for me.
