[Thy light and truth forth-sending]
‘O send out Thy light and Thy truth: let them lead me; let them
bring me unto Thy holy hill, and to Thy tabernacles.’—

Thy light and truth forth-sending
From Thy own radiant side,
Be Thou our Guard and Guide!
On Thee alone depending,
No darkness can affright;
Thy shield of Truth and Light,
Clear-flashing through the night,
Is all-defending.
