Jesu, Son of God, draw near,
Hasten to my sepulchre;
Help, where dead in sin I lie,
Save, or I for ever die.

Let no savour of the grave
Stop Thy power to help and save;
Call me forth to life restored,
Quicken'd by my dying Lord.
