SIZE OF COLLECTIONS

In the University libraries combined there was on July 1, 1935, a total
of 248,580 volumes. These were located as follows:

These figures do not include unbound material. The various libraries
were receiving on July 1, 1935, a total of 1,680 current serials (exclusive of
the Law Library); and the number of periodicals represented by back files,
often incomplete, was over 3,000.
