On FORTUNE.
O cruel Fortune! and unkind!Unconstant is thy wheel;
Thou yield'st to few content of mind;
B' experience I feel.

The judgments of the wise;
Till oft, too late, they feel the smart
From thy false gifts arise.
He's only wise that can improve
Thy smiles or frowns for good;
Such wisdom cometh from above,
Thy juggles to exclude.
