FRAGMENT of a POEM,

Published by Mr. WELSTED, in 1714.

THE force of Britain's evil star,
And strong delusions nurs'd with care,
Retard a while the vengeance just;
But when th' enchanted scene is o'er,
And Reason reassumes her power,
Fall, Traytor, fall you must!
