FUTURE OF GEORGE MASON COLLEGE
The President observed that Chancellor Thompson of George Mason College has only one more year before he reaches the mandatory retirement age, and that before we can recruit a man, the future course of the College should be decided. It will be important to know, when recruiting, whether the College will continue to be a coordinate College, or whether it will be an independent College. The President expressed the hope that a report on the studies which will be carried out would be ready by a year from now.
