[The holy God Himself they blame]

Ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, &c. —vii. 34.

The holy God Himself they blame,
The' essential Righteousness,
And shall we fondly hope or aim
A froward world to please?
No, Lord, we only wish to live
Thy life of purity,
And then Thy treatment to receive,
And suffer it like Thee.
