A MESSAGE.
1
My heart, a cage-bird pining,I bore across the sea;
Now, in glad dawn, soar shining
Its free wings back to thee.
2
My kisses, 'twill not lose themIn flying o'er the foam,
And it will find thy bosom
Surely as doves their home.
