'God Appeared In The City...'
Albemarle Circuit Court Judge David F. Berry handed down
Thursday a 12-year jail term to Joseph Rasinski, 32, of Baltimore,
Md., on two charges of breaking and entering.
The charges related to two incidents in Scottsville last year.
Commonwealth's Atty. Charles R. Haugh told the court that
Rasinski, an escapee from a Maryland jail, had a long record of
convictions for similar offenses.

This morning, God appeared in the City.
He looked around awhile and then he said,
He looked around awhile and then he said,
"Let there be light."
Suddenly,
All through the city
Everyone could see what everyone was doing.
All through the city
Everyone could see what everyone was doing.
This afternoon, God returned to the City.
Again he looked around, again he spoke,
Again he looked around, again he spoke,
"Let there be Truth."
As before,
All through the city,
Everyone suddenly knew what everyone else was thinking.
All through the city,
Everyone suddenly knew what everyone else was thinking.
This Evening, if God appears in the City...
The odds are 20 to 1 that he'll be crucified.
The odds are 20 to 1 that he'll be crucified.
I would like to be respectable,
honest,
and solid,
and upright.
honest,
and solid,
and upright.
You know, with them phony shining
Words that hide the deceit,
Words that hide the deceit,
Slick words,
Cold and Slick and bright to
dim the lies.
dim the lies.
I would like to be respectable...
I think..
Tomorrow!
How long can a man live in misery and in pain?
Never knowing when or if the sun will shine
again. Somebody tell me; help me please.
I can't take much more I'm on bended
knees. It's hard living in total
darkness and constant fear. All
I ask is to see you so near.
I'm so full of grief and
sorrow just waiting for
Tomorrow!
