[Insults in the' improper hour]

The chief priests mocking said, &c. —xv. 31.

Insults in the' improper hour
Christ forbids us to repress,
Arms us with His Spirit's power,
Strengthens us—to hold our peace!
Meekly then His mind we show,
Silently the truth defend,
More than signs and wonders do,
Suffer all things to the end.
