Millions of links but all arrang'd are seen,
The rivets clos'd and not a chasm between;
And where they disproportion'd meet our eyes,
Or seem of different form, or different size,
Here, if more polish'd, there more rude they shew,
Or colour'd various as the show'ry bow,
Still one bright zone girds ocean, earth, and sky,
Thy beauteous zone, oh sweet HUMANITY!
