The annual Charles Rothstein
ratings were published in the latest
edition of Lacrosse Newsletter. For
the initial time there was a tie for
first place with Virginia, Navy and
Johns Hopkins all being accorded
the national crown. Army and Cornell
ranked fourth and fifth, respectively;
while Maryland and North
Carolina were sixth and seventh.
The ACC's other lacrosse playing
member, Duke, ranked number 51.
