Song 9. My Deary, if thou die.

Pure as the new falen snow apears
the spotles virgins name
unsullyd white her bosom bears
as fair her form & frame
but when she's soild her luster greets
the admiring Eye no more
she sinks to mud defiles the streets
and swells the common shore.
