CHAPTER XI. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
1017.
[Thou long sought God of grace]
He would not suffer that any man should, &c.
—xi. 16.
Thou long sought God of grace
Unto Thy temple come,
Make it the house of holiness,
And take up all the room:
What robs Thee of Thy due
Command it to depart,
Nor let an evil thought pass through
My consecrated heart.
