June Allen, president of the
Charlottesville ZPG, shares Mr.
Fischer's concern and hopes
that Charlottesville will be able
to avoid problems which have
confronted areas like Fairfax.
Mrs. Allen feels that "In the
past year we have attempted to
educate the people in the
Charlottesville-Albemarle area
about local growth, the threats
to their quality of life and the
measure taken in many of the
communities across the
country that are coping with
similar problems – too rapid
growth."
