CHAPTER IX. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
970.
[Jesus, my Lord, I cry to Thee]
Jesus, my Lord, I cry to TheeAgainst the spirit unclean;
I want a constant liberty
A perfect rest from sin:
Expel the fiend out of my heart
By love's almighty power,
Now, now command him to depart,
And never enter more.
