Seers See Cyclones
Iowa State, aroused after
losing any change for a bowl
bid in a 6-5 loss to Missouri,
will have the support of the
panel in its battle against
Oklahoma State.
Texas Tech, bound for the
Sun Bowl also, is picked to
beat Arkansas, which is near
the point of collapse. Michigan
State is an overwhelming
favorite to beat weak
Northwestern.
The only major bowl bid
still undecided is the Big Ten
representative to the Rose
Bowl. This year, for the fifth
straight time, Ohio State and
Michigan clash for the title.
This should also be the fifth
straight year that the home
team has won. The game is in
Columbus.
