On Reading Sawney, an Heroic Poem, in Answer to the Dunciad.

Rejoice, ye injur'd Bards, whose honour'd Bays
The Dunciad taints, nor heed th'invenom'd Lays:
A nobler Verse restores your living Fame,
And graves a long Disgrace on Sawney's Name.

Rejoice, O! C---l, for thy abusive Foe,
Is fall'n, at last, like thee, and grov'ling lies as low.
