O stendit hædera vinum.
A scoffing mate, passing along Cheapeside,Incontinent a gallant Lasse espi'd,
Whose tempting breasts (as to the saile laid out,)
Incites this youngster thus to gin to flout,
Lady (quoth he) is this flesh to be sould?
No Lord (quoth she) for silver nor for gold,
But wherefore aske you? (and there made a stop)
To buy (quoth he) or else shut up your shop.
