Last year, the Cavalier booters "defeated" the highly favored Terrapins by tying them 1-1, at College Park, but lost to them in the NCAA Championships. This year, Maryland brings (as it always does) a well-trained group of foreign players with names one is never capable of pronouncing. However, Virginia is an exciting, offensively potent team very worth seeing. Many members of the team have said (and rightfully so) that it is not very inspiring to play in front of a thin crowd, as was the case last Sunday.
