This survivor of the late Cretaceous period of North America was seen strolling across the Lawn yesterday afternoon. An accompanying student told our photographer that his name was Rex and that he was a Tyrannosaurus. The student also said that Rex usually can be seen around the Alderman Road dormitories most of the week, near Watson House. Rex is rather small for a member of his genus, being only six feet long and five feet tall, and the winds of yesterday were giving him quite a hard time. But Lawn strollers should keep in mind that he is a carnivorous dinosaur.
