MOTHER'S BOY—
A number of prints by James McNeill
Whistler whose work gained widespread attention in the
nineteenth century are on display in the Virginia Museum
Artmobile in front of the Chemistry Building. Borrowed from
the collection of Lessing J. Rosenwald, who has had previous
exhibits at the Museum in Richmond, the prints are
accompanied by a taped presentation on key aspects of Mr.
Whistler's life and work. Open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1
p.m. to 4 p.m., the exhibit will remain through Thursday. McCormick
Road runs by the old First-Year dorms.
