WAIVER OF THE FIVE DAY NOTICE REQUIREMENT
- On a motion made by Mr. Waller H. Horsley, the Board unanimously adopted the following resolution:
- WHEREAS, The Manual of the Board of Visitors requires that the Secretary of the Board provide members of the Board notice of a special meeting "at least five days in advance of the meeting" (Section 2.34); and
- WHEREAS, the decision to call today's special meeting of the Board of Visitors was not made until Friday, March 9, and all members of the Board were then so notified;
- RESOLVED that the five days advance notice requirement be and hereby is waived.
