Meditat. 25.

Man's like a house, whose outward beauty may
Yield pleasure to the eye; If we survay
The inward rooms, there we may find enough
Of untrim'd natures sluttish houshold-stuff.
Would'st thou be fair within (O man,) and neat,
Turn but thy inside out, thou'lt be compleat.
