209. On Colours.

The Star-embellish'd Bird which Juno so
Admires, th'embroidred skie-adorning Bow
Presaging showrs, eye-pleasing colours show,
Which men born blind cannot distinctly know.
We cannot know the things that do concern
Our peace, till God be pleas'd to make us learn.
