SONG, IN ANGELICA.
Take heed, chaste nymph, take heed,Singing in the flow'ry mead,
For Love oft lurks in thorny roses,
And there in crimson buds reposes:
Take heed, chaste nymph, take heed,
Lest he awake,
His quiver take,
And bend his bow,
And shoot, heigh ho!
The dart, that makes thy bosom ache.
