Judiciary

It has come to the attention of
the Judiciary Committee that
students have taken their free
student tickets to athletic events
and resold them for cash. Such
scalping of student tickets is a
violation of University regulations
that are clearly printed on each
ticket. As such, the sale is a
violation of Article 9 of the
Standards of Conduct and is
punishable by penalties that could
include suspension from the
University.

The success of the current
system for distributing student
tickets is dependent upon its ability
to insure that the tickets issued are
not misused. The Committee will
therefore investigate all reports of
ticket scalping and administer
appropriate punishments to anyone
found guilty of violating the
student ticket regulations.
