In these troubled times, we need
people on the student Council who
will work seriously for the good of
the students. Shockingly, however,
this election has brought forth a
herd of candidates who are running
merely to get a few good shrieks.
The Jefferson Party has nominated
two candidates who, in order to get
laughs, have come out against
everything that has been achieved
here at the University during the
past few years.

Not to be outdone, the Virginia
Progressive Party's candidates have
laughingly come out in favor of
everything that has been accomplished
here at the University during
the past few years. Only one
party, the Liquifactionists, and
their two candidates, Michael
Capobianco and Jake Ference, have
come out and openly stated that
"we are not a joke." No other party
has dared to be so honest.

I suggest that we, as students,
reward the LPBCC for their courage
and integrity and vote Liquifactionist.
