The following resolution was adopted:

• RESOLVED that the following persons are elected to the faculty
• Ms. Eileen O. Boris as Professor, General Faculty, for three academic years, effective August 25, 1998.
• Ms. Almut D. Burchard as Assistant Professor of Mathematics, for four academic years, effective August 25, 1998.
• Mr. Michael E. Cox as Assistant Professor of Research In Microbiology, for one year, effective February 1, 1998.
• Mr. Barry J. Cushman as Professor of Law, effective August 25, 1998.
• Mr. Gary W. Gallagher as Professor of History, effective August 25, 1998.
• Ms. Larisa V. Gubareva as Assistant Professor of Research in Internal Medicine, for three years, effective April 1, 1998.
• Mr. S. Brooks Marshall Ls Visiting Professor of Commerce, for one academic year, effective August 2.5, 1998.
• Mr. George A. Zitnay as Professor of Research in Neurological Surgery, in the Department of Neurological Surgery, for three years, effective March 2, 1998.
