[God is love and holiness]
He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, &c.
—xxv. 12.
God is love and holiness,
And only can approve
Saints who Jesus' mind express,
Who Him in Jesus love:
God doth in His Son delight
And all that His resemblance bear,
Leaves the rest to endless night
And blackness of despair.
