What's a dull insipid Life,
Or one perplex'd with Care and Strife?
Always blithe, serene and gay,
Wou'd I wear my Hours away:
Never stormy, never sad,
Easy, innocent and glad;
Pleas'd with what the Heav'ns ordain,
Free from Sickness, Care, and Pain:
