Epig. VI. In Aquilam Romanam.

That Eagles yet sau'd Rome 'twas neuer knowne:
Then in Romes Ensigne, why is th' Eagle showne?
Yet Rome by Geese, once free from thrall was set:
Then why doth thanklesse Rome the goose forget?
