TKO Wins
St. Anthony's Charlie Frazier
and Chi Phi's David Hollingsworth,
both of whom have won two bouts
on technical knock-outs, will meet
in the 167-pound finals. Frazier
eliminated Phi Gam's Phil Russell
Tuesday night, while Hollingsworth
beat DKE's Richard Berkeley.
In Tuesday's opening 129-pound
bouts, John Matthews of Theta
Delt topped Mark Smith, also of
Theta Delt, in a split decision, and
will meet Phi Gam's Jake
Kenworthy, a unanimous decision
winner over Fulton Patrick of
Sigma Nu.
Wade Massie of St. A and
independent Kevin Hurley will meet
in the final at 147. Massie topped
Phi Delt's Charles Tanksley
Tuesday, while Hurley won a
unanimous decision over Mike
Montgomery.
Zete's Dave Bowman and Phi
Psi's Tom Gilroy each won
unanimous decisions to reach the
finals at 178. Bowman outfought
SAE's Steve Bledsoe, while Gilroy
defeated independent Richard
Oftedal.
