Rifle Team
Tops Spiders
In First Meet

Competing in its first match of
the season last weekend at the
University of Richmond, the Virginia
Rifle Team came out on top
of both Richmond and Virginia
State University.

Led by first-year man Randy
Horton with a 268, the other
members of the team were Capt.
Doug Jackson, Claude Stulting.
Charlie Adkins, and Larry Hall.
Together they put together a 1263
total beating the Richmond score
of 1231 and 970 of Virginia State.

The Rifle Team has a very
strong first-year group as emphasized
by the fact that three of
the five team members (Randy
Horton, Claude Stulting, and Larry
Hall) are first-year men.

This weekend the Rifle Team
will host Hampton College in its
first home match.
