ELECTION

The President proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution

RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that
the following person be and he is hereby elected to the faculty

Mr. Nathaniel V. Daniel, Jr. as Instructor in English, for one year, effective 1 September 1963,
at a salary of $6,200

RE-ELECTION

The President proposed and the Board adopted the following resolution

RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that
the following person be and he is hereby re-elected to the faculty:

Mr. Sherman S. Dutton as Assistant Professor of General Studies, for one year, at a salary of
$7,400 plus 20 per cent for summer duties, effective 1 July 1963.

APPOINTMENT

The President announced the following appointment:

Mr. Sherman S. Dutton as Director of the Patrick-Henry Branch, for one year, effective 1 July
1963.
