[Who simple innocence approves]

Who simple innocence approves,
Jesus the little children loves,
And marks the character
Which fits us for that heavenly place,
Where innocents behold His face,
And bright like Him appear.
Saviour to us through faith impart
The deep humility of heart
That hangs on Thee alone;

The truth of love's simplicity
Which leads us to partake with Thee
An everlasting throne.
