Correction

The Cavalier Daily apologizes
for any misconceptions inspired by
the story about the
Virginia-Maryland soccer match
that appeared in Wednesday's
edition and would like to make the
following corrections concerning
that story: Although the Virginia
soccer team did tie a highly favored
Maryland squad, 2-2, the Cavalier
hardly dominated play. Although
the story relates that the "Cavaliers
completely dominated the action,
both in regulation play and in the
two overtimes," it is as factious as
the fact that Maryland was able to
take some 32 shots at the Virginia
goal (opposed to Virginia's 6
attempts) would seem to indicate.
