[God on man the grace bestows]

How many loaves have ye? And they said, &c. —xv. 34.

God on man the grace bestows
His own indigence to see:
Then the humbled sinner knows,
Owns his heart-felt poverty:
Then he doth himself abase,
Nothing in his own esteem,
Prizes the Redeemer's grace,
Seeks his whole of good in Him.
