CHAPTER XV. The poetical works of John and Charles Wesley | ||
391.
[Man, fallen man conceals within]
Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, &c.
—xv. 19.
Man, fallen man conceals within
The principles of every sin;
But virtuous seed of every kind
We in the heart of Jesus find:
Jesus my evil heart remove,
Cleansed by Thy own imparted love;
And to preserve my purity,
Reside with all Thy grace in me.
