371.
[Sequester'd from the noisy crowd]
He went up into a mountain apart to pray.
—xiv. 23.
Sequester'd from the noisy crowd,
Fain would I pray apart,
Confess my sins and wants to God,
And pour out all my heart:
Now let me leave the world beneath,
Now to the mount repair,
Sink at the Saviour's feet, and breathe
My latest breath in prayer.
