ODE XLVII. YOUNG OLD-AGE.
Yes, yes, I own, I love to seeOld Men facetious, blithe, and free;
I love the Youth that light can bound,
Or graceful swim th'harmonious Round:
But when Old-Age jocose, though grey,
Can dance and frolic with the Gay;
'Tis plain to all the jovial Throng,
Though hoar the Head, the Heart is young.
