Overtime Loss
John Pitas, a third-year man,
follows Johndrow at 126. He also
has a 9-1 dual meet record and is
undefeated at 2-0 in the
conference. Pitas was runner up in
the tournament last year, losing an
overtime, 1-0, decision in the finals,
and should be the favorite this year.
Third-year man Lou Pavia holds
down the 134-pound spot and
should be top seeded with a 4-0
record in the ACC, including two
pins and two lopsided victories. A
backup last season, Pavia has been a
starter most of this year with a 9-3
overall record. He also won the
state title.
