2. ROTC

We support the presence of the
Reserve Officers Training Corps at
the University in an attempt to
insure academic freedom for those
students who desire courses in
military science as a part of their
general courses of study. We do
feel, however, that the ROTC
program should be redesigned
largely on the Princeton model to
make its academic value consistent
with that of other liberal arts
courses offered at the college.
